Going Green for 2011 - Day 7- Go Green Pocket Diapers, Cloth Accessory Kit including Cloth Wipes, Wet Bag, & Pail Liner Review & Giveaway(ends on 2/3)

Have you tried Go Green Pocket diaper's??  It is really all the rage in the cloth diapering community. She has cute diapers and accessories, that are all very affordable. Leah generously sent me a set of cloth wipes, a small "Just Leafy"wet bag and a pail liner for my Going Green Event.  I have already tried her fabulous cloth diapers and love that her products appeal to my budget. Being a stay at home Mom requires me to really budget our money, and not cave to "cute " as much as practical. With Go Green Pocket diapers you neither skimp on style or quality.

Go Green Pocket Diapers, is filled with lots of new products featuring adorable prints, but a new Champ diaper as well.   All of her prices again are simply unbeatable and she has a 15 day trial, where you send the diaper back for a FULL refund if you are not satisfied.  I can't imagine someone NOT being satisfied.  When my products arrived I could not wait to use 

them. The wet bag features a zippered section for your dry diaper or wipes and then a zippered section to store soiled diapers or cloth.  Cloth wipes soiled-huh?  Have I lost you?  This may be taking you to a GREEN EXTREME, something seemingly weird or taboo, but I am speaking of Family Cloth.  What?  It is replacing your toilet paper by using cloth. Before you tune me out, it is not gross. However, I am reminded as Mother's we are all use to "gross", but it is nothing of the sort.  It is based on the same principal as using cloth wipes for your baby.  It doesn't smell, it isn't nasty, and you would be surprised how much cleaner you actually feel instead of using dry toilet paper.  Besides, ditching toilet paper, even just part time, is the greener choice. Their cloth wipes are the ideal size to start using cloth.  They come in different colors and some are very smooth textured, while others are ribbed. It cleans well without breaking your budget.

If you seriously open your mind up to it, you will be surprised at how easy it is, not to mention saves you money in the long run.  Have you ever wondered why your toilet paper is white? Read this article about the chemicals that go into this process.   I know this seems completely socially unacceptable or somehow unsanitary, but not so.  Again, it is based on the EXACT same principle as cloth diapering.

Are you curious yet, just a little?  This is what it looks like.  I by the way, still have toilet paper, but have also opened my mind to using cloth, too.  Let go of preconceived notions.

Using Family Cloth may not be for you or your family, just as cloth diapering may not be for everyone, but consider it. It is softer, more economical and the greener choice. Seriously, if you talk to Mama's making the switch, most will tell you they would never return back to toilet paper.  It is not weird or stinky, seriously, just as cloth diapering is not, in my opinion.  I use cloth pads, too, so it is not that big of a leap for me.  If many of you express interest I will do further articles on family cloth. 

Go Green Pocket diapers also sent me a pail liner to review.  These are thin liners, that zip at the bottom. Upon trying these, I had no issue. Leah had warned me that these did not quite go as planned during the manufacturing, but I honestly had no issues with it tearing apart, It worked well in the washer, too.
