Erin is just one of six families being featured on “Remake America,” a new weekly reality series from Yahoo! News. This show closely follows six American families as they struggle to get back on track, and shines a human spotlight into the political issues at the forefront of the 2012 elections; from unemployment, to healthcare, to veteran affairs, and the housing market. During the show, experts will work with the families, offering guidance that will help them create life-changing solutions.
Erin Guerrero of Charleston, SC is a 34-year-old single mother of 3-year-old twins who works as a volunteer coordinator and is facing foreclosure. This reality is one America knows all too well. Together Erin finds help from financial experts and the help and support of her family and other mom's in similar situations. As the series unfolds we get to know more about Erin and her family. I will have the honor of hosting a luncheon with Farrah at The Three and Under and meeting Erin along with several South Carolina blogger's in Charleston, SC this weekend. Let's all support Erin and her family!! Join the conversation with millions of Americans...

I enjoy shopping at GoodWill; too, do you go on specific days? What is your best find?
(Erin replies:)
I have a GoodWill just a minute down the street from my office so I do not have specific days; I just go whenever I can. I can go shopping today and find nothing but go tomorrow and score big. There is not one good shopping day over the other. I have been told that if you are looking for furniture that Saturday afternoons are the best time to look because left over yard sale furniture get dropped off. I like to shop Craigslist for furniture and toys and Goodwill and Consignment stores for clothes and shoes. My best find at Goodwill has been my LOFT wardrobe. I’m also very proud of the solid wood bunk bed that I found on Craigslist.
