Come join us in an exciting morning of fun and fitness. Chase the crazy carrot with your speed enhancing bunny ears as you run the half marathon or 5k. A Crazy Carrot will lead you on a scenic course through Clemson and the surrounding area. If you find an Easter egg along the way, be sure to pick it up for a surprise at the finish. An Easter egg hunt will also take place on the house lawn at the Botanical Gardens for all who wish to participate.

 Easter Egg Hunt at Nettles Park with the Tiger Cub and Easter Bunny

A community Easter egg hunt will be held at 10 a.m. April 19 at Nettles Park off Issaqueena Trail in Clemson. The event is free and includes games, goodie bags, pictures with the Easter Bunny and Clemson Tiger, free hot dogs, and egg hunts. Hunts are planned for ages 2 and younger at 10 a.m.; ages 3 – 4 at 10:15 a.m.; ages 5 – 8 at 10:30 a.m.; ages 7 – 8 at 10:45 a.m.; and ages 9 – 12 at 11 a.m. The event is sponsored by the City of Clemson Parks and Recreation, Clemson University PRTM and Clemson United Methodist Church. Peanuts Easter Beagle Express

The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad welcomes back The Peanuts Easter Beagle Express! April 18 & 19! Trains will depart the historic Bryson City depot at 11:00am. The train will travel along the Tuckasegee River into the quaint town of Dillsboro North Carolina for the 1 _ hour layover. Passengers will join Snoopy, Lucy, Charlie Brown and our Easter Bunnies for old fashioned Easter fun! Festivities include an on-going Easter egg hunt, crafts, coloring sheets, temporary tattoos, and snacks with Snoopy and more. There will also be plenty of opportunities for pictures, so do not forget your camera! Advance tickets are required, as seating is limited. See the website for more information.
