The Children's Fountain in downtown Greenville, SC at RiverPlace

Have you stopped by The Children’s Fountain in downtown Greenville, SC? It is located on the “River Walk” right before you get to Falls Park.   This railway inspired children’s fountain is complete with a train, peeking out of the rocks, as if it were in a tunnel, and brightly colored painted tracks that follow.   It is so much fun to stop by and run through the tracks and splash in the falls!  The water is a little chilly, even for a hot July day, but the kid’s don’t seem to mind.

The Children’s Fountain is a fun, and FREE activity for kid’s in the upstate to enjoy during the summer.  It’s not usually extremely crowded during the week days, and you also get to enjoy beautiful downtown Greenville. We watched little ducklings as the kid’s splashed in the fountain, and saw some cute dog’s, as well as enjoyed watching the biker’s zoom past us, heading for the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
